The Louisiana Seafood Soiree will take place on August 7, 2011 at the Morial Convention Center in Hall J.
Teams competiting this year are Cafe Reoncile, Delgado Community College, Liberty's Kitchen and Northshore Technical and Community College.
Each team will prepare a Louisiana seafood appetizer and entree for the panel of judges.
Opening ceremonies will be at 10:30 a.m. and closing ceremonies will be at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at Whole Foods or at the door of the event for $5.
